❌ Weak Adhesive
If the canvas won’t hold your drills properly, it’s as bad as it sounds. A good adhesive should keep your sparkle firmly in place.
❌ Creased, Bent, or Poor-Quality Canvas
A good canvas should lay flat and feel sturdy. Cheap kits often arrive with deep creases, wrinkles, or flimsy material that never sits properly – making it harder to place your drills neatly and enjoy the process.

Resin drills are stronger, shinier, and more consistent than plastic or acrylic ones. You’ll see (and love) the difference as soon as you start placing them – they catch the light beautifully.
✔ Strong, Even Adhesive
Look for canvases with poured glue. It should hold your drills firmly without sliding or losing stickiness over time.
✔ Strong, Smooth Canvas
A quality short lint canvas that lays flat, has a soft but sturdy backing, and holds its shape without wrinkling. It makes placing drills easier, keeps your finished piece looking polished, and lets you enjoy the process without battling bumps and creases.
